Beijing: Jetour made a strong statement at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, unveiling a trio of new models that signal the Chinese brand’s shift toward a more serious, global product lineup. Among the highlights was the all-new T8, a three-row family SUV that takes the brand upmarket and into more competitive territory.
Bigger, Bolder, and More Premium
The T8 enters as the larger, three-row sibling to the popular T2, appearing in Beijing with a significantly longer wheelbase and a more premium cabin layout. The move positions the T8 squarely in the mid-to-large SUV segment, targeting families and buyers who want more interior space, road presence, and refinement than compact crossovers can offer.
The cabin has been redesigned to reflect Jetour’s push upmarket, featuring flexible three-row seating for seven occupants and a generous infotainment setup. Key technology includes a 15.6-inch floating screen, complementing what appears to be a thoroughly modernised interior compared to previous Jetour models.

Hybrid Power Under the Hood
Under the hood, the T8 retains a 2.0L turbocharged unit but gains an updated hybrid scaffold for improved efficiency. Output is rated at approximately 254 hp, with the hybrid system designed to balance performance with fuel economy, a configuration well-suited to both urban commuting and long-distance family travel.
Each model in the Beijing lineup features the new GAIA architecture, integrating three locking differentials and smart wading sensors, indicating that the T8 is not just a road-oriented family hauler but one with meaningful off-road capability baked in from the ground up.
Part of an Ambitious Beijing Lineup
The T8 was not the only headline act at Jetour’s Beijing stand. Leading the charge was the F700, a full-size plug-in hybrid pickup that shares its bones with the flagship G700 SUV, packing a staggering 892 hp and 1,135 Nm of torque, with Jetour even rolling out a 6×6 concept variant. Completing the trio was the TX, the brand’s first dedicated EV off-roader built on a high-voltage 800V platform.
Together, the three models reflect a brand clearly broadening its ambitions. The TX points to EV ambition, the T8 targets families, and the F700 leans into lifestyle utility.
A Growing Global Footprint
The T8’s reveal comes as Jetour accelerates its international expansion. To date, Jetour has sold over 2.27 million vehicles globally, covering 100 countries and regions. The company wants annual sales to reach 2 million vehicles per year by 2030, with half expected from overseas markets, making global-ready products like the T8 central to that strategy.
The Jetour lineup fits Middle East buyer habits well, as the region rewards big cabins, long-distance comfort, off-road image, and dealership confidence, all boxes the T8 appears designed to tick.
Pricing and market availability for the T8 have not yet been announced. More details are expected ahead of its commercial launch later in 2026.
