Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met Thursday with HE Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed who is visiting the country. Both sides reviewed relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations and ways to support and strengthen them, particularly in the areas of international cooperation and sustainable development. Doha: The State of Qatar participated in the seventh ministerial session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), held on Thursday via videoconference. The session marked the conclusion of Qatar’s presidency of the sixth session, with the presidency of the General Assembly handed over to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
