Doha: Qatar’s Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced the completion of the second package of a major roads and infrastructure development project in the Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa areas, as part of a wider plan aimed at supporting urban growth and improving services for residents.According to Ashghal, the completed works will serve 1,514 residential plots through the construction and upgrading of internal roads designed to improve traffic movement and strengthen connections with surrounding main roads. Washington: A new study conducted by researchers at Pennsylvania State University in the United States has shown that high blood sugar levels in mothers during pregnancy may increase the risk of obesity and diabetes in their children later in life, even in cases where the mother is not formally diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
