Jeddah, KSA: Qatar’s official Hajj mission delegation has arrived in the Holy Lands as part of the extensive preparations undertaken by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs to ensure all services and arrangements are in place ahead of the departure of Qatari pilgrims for the Hajj season.
The preparations aim to provide pilgrims with a safe, seamless, and spiritually enriching experience in an integrated and secure environment throughout their journey.
The mission’s support units are continuing round-the-clock field operations alongside advance teams that arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia several days earlier. These efforts form part of a comprehensive operational plan designed to ensure full readiness before the arrival of the first groups of pilgrims on the fourth of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The mission stated that the plan focuses on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of Qatari pilgrims, particularly in terms of comfort, safety, accommodation, healthcare, and logistical support throughout the pilgrimage.
A number of specialized support units are carrying out their responsibilities in coordination with the relevant Saudi authorities to ensure smooth procedures and rapid responses to all requirements related to serving pilgrims.
Operating from Al Naseem District in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the mission is implementing an integrated framework that brings together Qatari Hajj operators and Saudi authorities to provide comprehensive and efficient services across all stages of the pilgrimage.
The mission includes specialized field teams working within a unified system to ensure that Qatari pilgrims receive the highest standards of care and benefit from the advanced services provided by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
It also emphasized that support units will continue direct supervision of Qatari Hajj operators to ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations and standards, particularly in areas related to accommodation, transportation, healthcare, and public safety.
Meanwhile, the liaison and support unit continues to operate around the clock as a direct communication link between pilgrims, Hajj operators, and service teams. The unit is responsible for receiving inquiries and feedback and addressing religious, medical, technical, and organizational matters promptly, helping enhance response efficiency and pilgrim satisfaction.
The mission stressed that close coordination among all support units and Qatari pilgrimage operators remains a key factor in ensuring a successful Hajj season. It noted that all efforts are being carried out within a unified operational system aimed at achieving the highest levels of organization, efficiency, safety, and comfort for pilgrims from the State of Qatar.
These efforts align with the Awqaf Strategy 2025–2030, which places special emphasis on facilitating Hajj rituals and enhancing pilgrims’ experiences in accordance with the systems and regulations established by the relevant authorities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs affirmed that the mission reflects Qatar’s continued commitment to providing pilgrims with a smooth, secure, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience by leveraging advanced human, administrative, and technological capabilities to help pilgrims perform their rituals in an atmosphere of tranquility and faith.
